PTFE valve seats offer several advantages over conventional valve packings. This makes them a favorite choice in the chemical, petrochemical, and pulp and paper industries. PTFE seat rings provide the valve with a tight, positive seal. Valves with PTFE seats do not require lubrication, and will not gall, seize, or bind. PTFE valve seats can be used in any line no matter what type of corrosive conditions exist.

Balfor produces a full line of ball valve seats, seals, thrust washers and valve discs. These parts are available in both 100% virgin and glass-filled PTFE. Valve seats are molded or machined to customer specifications. Our quality control department assures proper I.D. and O.D. as well as height over the ball dimensions.
