Balfor produces products of Teflon and other engineered plastics for a wide range of industrial uses.  The automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, refrigeration, oil, and food and dairy industries are among those who take advantage of the excelled combination of properties of these materials.  Teflon molded or machined parts are often specified for manufacturers of valves, pumps, and chemical process equipment.

Balfor today is an ultra-modern machine shop and custom molding facility utilizing the most advanced technology available to manufacture both finished products as well as the tooling used to produce these items.  Our staff of design and process engineers works with the latest CAD systems which are linked with out tooling machinery.  Finished tooling and products are inspected on computerized comparators and coordinate measurement machines.  We currently own and utilize over 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space.  Our machine shop includes CNC lathes, milling machines, turning centers and secondary operation machines capable of producing parts from 1/8" diameter through 60" diameter.  Our extensive molding operation includes automatic and semi-automatic presses from 5 tons through 500 tons of capacity.  A more complete listing of more than 100 machines currently used is available upon request.
